Gardaí seize heroin worth €250,000

Gardaí in Dublin have seized heroin with a street value estimated at €250,000, it has emerged.

Gardaí from Kevin Street’s Detective and Drug Units, searched an apartment in the Adamstown area of Lucan last night, as part of an intelligence-led operation.

A car was seized and taken to Kevin Street for a technical examination, where more than a kilo of heroin was discovered in the vehicle.

Gardaí said no arrests have been made, and investigations are continuing.
