Equality body says it will continue essential work
The Equality Authority says it is confident that it can carry out all its essential work despite a funding cut of more than 40%.
Several members of the authority, including chief executive Niall Crowley, have resigned in protest at the cut, which was imposed by the Government last year.
However, speaking at the launch of the body's strategy for the next three years, acting chief executive Richard Fallon said the authority would still be able to carry out its core activities.
