Man dies in Cork road accident

A man has died after a car and a van were in collision between in Co Cork this morning.

The accident happened at Ballyshoneen in Macroom at around 7.30am.

The driver of the van was killed. The car driver was injured and is being treated in hospital.

The road is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
