Cowen: 'Anglo investigation must be allowed take its course'

The Taoiseach has said the Garda investigation at Anglo Irish Bank must be allowed to take its course, and that to comment on the investigation in the Dáil might prejudice any possible trial.

Brian Cowen made the comments in the Dáil this afternoon as the fraud squad continued its search of Anglo's headquarters in Dublin.
