The Road Safety Authority is proposing to introduce new elements to the National Car Test next year.

The Road Safety Authority is proposing to introduce new elements to the National Car Test next year.

The authority is seeking the views of car owners on proposals to change the clarity of windscreens, check rear fog lamps and introduce new tyre standards.

It is also proposing that cars aged over 10 years be tested annually.
