Three still in custody over Dublin gun murder

Three people remain in garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of John Carroll in Dublin's south inner city last week.

Three men and a woman who were arrested on Friday were released without charge last night.

Another two men and one woman are still being held at various garda stations around the city.

Mr Carroll, a father of three, was shot a number of times in Grumpy Jack's pub in the Coombe last Wednesday night.

He died in hospital a short time later.
