Controlled explosion carried out on Dublin device
Army bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion on a viable device found beneath a car in Dublin last night.
The discovery was made outside a house in the Raleigh Square area of Crumlin at around 10pm.
Gardaí are investigating the matter and will be conducting a technical examination on the remains of the bomb.
Meanwhile, a suspect device found under a car in the Commera housing estate in Cork last night has been declared a hoax.
