Two men held after armed raid at Gorey post office

Gardaí have arrested two men following an armed raid at a post office in Co Wexford this morning.

A man wearing a crash helmet and armed with what appeared to be a handgun entered the premises in Gorey just before 11.30am.

He stole a substantial sum of cash before making his getaway on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice.

Two men were arrested by gardaí shortly afterwards and are being questioned at Gorey garda station.
