Woman injured in Cork house fire

A woman has been seriously injured in a house fire in Co. Cork.

Gardaí and the fire service were called to the scene of the blaze on Watergate Street in Bandon at around 8am this morning.

The woman who is in her 50s, suffered serious burns and is being treated at Cork University Hospital.
