Arrests made following double robbery in Dublin
Four men have been arrested after two robberies in west Dublin last night.
A supermarket and an off-licence were robbed in quick succession in Clondalkin.
At around 9pm last night three men entered a supermarket in the Fonthill Retail Park in Clondalkin, armed with what was believed to be a handgun.
They threatened staff and got away in a silver Volvo car with an undisclosed amount of cash.
They then made their way to an off licence attached to a bar on the Fonthill Road where three members of the same gang threatened staff and stole cash.
Gardaí managed to stop the car at the nearby Collinstown Park and arrested the four men after a short chase.
They are being held at Ballyfermot and Lucan Garda Stations.
