Jobseekers welfare forms now available online

Jobseekers can now download application forms from the web for benefits and allowances.

The move is aimed at speeding up the processing of their claims by enabling them complete the forms before going to their Social Welfare Office.

This is the first time application forms for Jobseekers Benefit and Jobseekers Allowance have been made available from the Department of Social Welfare and Family Affairs website – www.welfare.ie

Minister for Social and Family Affairs Mary Hanafin says using the internet is part of a series of measures being brought in to help those who have lost their jobs.
