Search for missing woman intensifies

The search for missing West Cork woman Anne Corcoran has been intensified, as the garda water unit and more than 200 members of the public join the search.

The 60-year-old widow from Kilbrittain was last seen in Bandon on January 16.

Her car, a green Peugeot 206, was found on Wednesday and is being forensically examined by gardaí in Dublin.

Gardaí have been searching the area around her house and where her car was found and have appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.
