Controlled explosion carried out on device in Dublin

Army bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion on a device discovered in the Crumlin area of Dublin this morning.

The device was found beneath a car on Stanaway Road, which was closed for some time while members of the Defence Forces carried out an examination.
