Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an arson attack yesterday evening in which a man suffered burns to his head.

A man's car was set alight in Limavady just before 6pm.

The PSNI says it has yet to establish a motive for the attack.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are investigating the cause of a fire at the offices of Drogheda Borough Council last night.

The blaze, which broke out at around 9pm, caused severe damage to the building, which was empty at the time.
