Talks on public spending cuts to continue today

Talks aimed at agreeing €2bn worth of public spending cutbacks are due to continue at Government Buildings in Dublin today.

Yesterday, employers, trade unions and government officials began a fresh round of discussions to find consensus on measures to plug the massive deficit in the public finances.
