Gardaí investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin have recovered a gun they believe may have been used in the attack.

Gardaí investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin have recovered a gun they believe may have been used in the attack.

The 24-year-old man was shot at around 12.30am this morning when two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a shot gun entered the Cappagh House pub in Finglas and opened fire.

The injured man was taken to James Connelly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen the two gunmen made their escape in the direction of Barry Green in Finglas to contact them.
