Beleaguered bishop vows to help abuse investigation

Bishop of Cloyne John Magee tonight pledged to cooperate fully with the Commission of Investigation and again apologised to all victims of clerical sexual abuse.

A statement from the Diocese said it had accepted the findings of the Health Service Executive (HSE) report into the handling of abuse allegations and had agreed action to boost child protection.
