Bereaved families a warning to road users

Around 300 Irish families will be sitting down to Christmas dinner without a loved one who was killed in a road crash during the year, it was warned today.

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) hopes the stark statistic will make people think twice about taking risks while driving over the festive holidays.
