Helpline for elderly sees increased call volumes

The operators of the Senior Helpline say they are preparing for an increase in calls.

The helpline provides a confidential listening service for older people who want to talk to others about their problems or concerns.

The service operates each day from 10am to 4pm and from 7pm to 10pm at 1850-440-444.
