Teenage boy dies following Derry crash

A teenage boy has died following a collision between a lorry and a car in Co Derry yesterday evening.

The 17-year-old was reportedly picking up friends for a school event when his car collided with a lorry near Garvagh at around 6pm.

A woman was also taken to hospital, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Elsewhere, a 39-year-old woman is also in a serious condition after being knocked down by a car in Antrim last night.
