Irish bishops express concern over violence against women

Irish bishops have expressed their concern about violence against women in war torn regions of the world.

The Irish Commission for Justice and Social Affairs is launching a position paper on the plight of the female population in the Congo.

It is coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
