There was more bad news on the jobs front in the North today.

There was more bad news on the jobs front in the North today.

Co. Tyrone engineering company Powerscreen announced the temporary lay-offs of 300 people for a week, beginning on Monday.

It will be followed by another four weeks without pay in January and February.

The company has cited lack of orders as the reason for the move.

The Easter holiday week is also being brought forward to January.
