Some of the country's best known writers are today taking part in a series of readings celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Some of the country's best known writers are today taking part in a series of readings celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Readings will be held every evening, starting tonight through to Wednesday, at Trinity College in Dublin.

There are 32 writers taking part including Seamus Heaney, Roddy Doyle, Anne Enright and Colm Toibín.
