Cowen and Brown to discuss Lisbon stalemate

The Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, is due to travel to London today to hold talks on the Lisbon Treaty with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

The meeting is one of a series Mr Cowen is holding with leaders of the EU's big three member states ahead of a summit in Brussels next week.
