Cowen in talks with social partners over new pay deal

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has had recent discussions with the social partners about the new national pay deal, in the context of further economic decline.

Mr Cowen faced questions in the Dáil about the possibility of reviewing the wage agreement following yesterday's disastrous exchequer returns.
