Healthstore chain opens two new shops

Healthstore chain Holland and Barrett has opened two new stores in counties Westmeath and Dublin.

Twelve jobs will be created in Athlone and Dun Laoghaire, in an investment of €600,000.

It brings to 21 the total number of Holland and Barrett stores here, with another due to be opened in Nutgrove in Dublin by the end of the year. The shops sell vitamin and mineral supplements.

One hundred and fifteen people are employed by the firm in Ireland.
