ICTU wants Government to borrow for banks’ recapitalisation

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has said the Government should borrow the billions required to recapitalise Irish banks.

The ICTU said it believes moves to bolster capital in the banks are imminent and nationalisation is the best way to go.
