UUP agrees electoral pact with British Tories
The Ulster Unionist Party has agreed to form an electoral pact with the British Conservative Party.
Senior members of the UUP approved the alliance during a meeting of the party's executive in Belfast last night.
The deal will see the two parties run on a joint ticket in the next Westminster and European elections in the North.
They have yet to decide if the partnership will be extended to include Assembly and local council elections.
