Three held in connection with Arklow post office raid

Three men were arrested today after gardaí swooped on a suspected armed robbery gang minutes after a post office hold-up.

Raiders, believed to have been armed with a handgun and an axe, burst into the store on Arklow’s Main Street, Co Wicklow at around 9.30am ordering staff and customers up against the wall.
