Cowen hints bank re-capitalisation measures could be on the way

The Taoiseach has said the Financial Regulator is keeping the Government informed of the latest developments in the banking sector.

Brian Cowen hinted in the Dáil today that a package of measures could be on the way soon to re-capitalise Irish banks.
