Congo: Trocaire calls for more help from UN and EU
Trócaire has called on the UN and the EU to do more to help Congolese refugees.
The Irish aid agency says the two international bodies have not reacted quickly enough to the crisis and that food and other supplies are needed in the region urgently.
A UN convoy began a delivery of food aid yesterday, while British Prime Minister Gordon Brown gave his support for a UN plan to send 3,000 more troops to the area.
