DUP demands Adams apology for 'Afrikaner' remark

The DUP is demanding that Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams apologise for comments he made about unionism during a speech in the US this week.

Mr Adams was speaking about the unionist attitude to power-sharing during an address to a fund-raising dinner in New York.
