Murphy: Gardaí will do everything to catch Limerick killers

The Garda Commissioner has said the force will use all means available to bring the killers of Shane Geoghegan to justice.

Commissioner Fachtna Murphy has been meeting Limerick’s top gardaí as the investigation into the murder of the 28-year-old continues.

The Garryowen rugby player was shot dead close to his home on Sunday morning in what gardaí believe was a case of mistaken identity.

Fifty detectives, along with members of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, are working on the case at Roxboro Garda Station.
