Books of condolence are to be opened in Limerick this afternoon for Shane Geoghegan, the Garryowen rugby player who was shot dead in the city over the weekend.

The 28-year-old was gunned down near his home in the Kilteragh area of Dooradoyle in the early hours of Sunday morning.
