Garda and PSNI chiefs to hold cross-border crime talks

The Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner are both due to attend a cross-border conference on crime later today.

Dermot Ahern and Fachtna Murphy will be joined by PSNI chief constable Hugh Orde and Stormont Security Minister Paul Goggins at the meeting in Co Fermanagh.

The items on the agenda include greater cross-border co-operation on to tackle fuel laundering, illicit alcohol manufacturing and smuggling.
