Three brothers from the North caught smuggling millions of cigarettes into the UK were today ordered to pay over £1m (€1.3m).

Patrick (aged 47), Plunkett (aged 44) and Benedict Mackle (aged 40), from Moy, Co Armagh, tried to smuggle almost six million cigarettes into the UK in January 2003.
