DPP to explain reasons for not prosecuting suspected killers

The Director of Public Prosecutions is to explain reasons for not bringing criminal actions against suspected killers, it was revealed today.

In a massive policy change, director James Hamilton will write to relatives of murder and manslaughter victims setting out why a case cannot be taken.
