Carers’ Benefit increase below rate of inflation

Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has introduced modest increases in the carers’ benefit and allowance, Maternity Benefit and Fuel Allowance today.

Carers’ Benefit and Allowance is to be increased by €6.50 to €204.30 per week, an increase below the rate of inflation.
