Lenihan: Economic growth to shrink as unemployment rises

Finance Minister Brian Lenihan today delivered one of the gloomiest economic forecasts for more than 20 years.

He warned that economic growth in 2009 could shrink by as much as 1% while unemployment will rise to 7.3%.
