16-year-old remanded in custody after suicide attempts
A 16-year-old boy was remanded in custody today after a court heard his worried family would not take him home because of his suicide attempts.
The teenager was brought before the Dublin Children’s Court today following his arrest for non-attendance of his case there previously. He had been facing charges for resisting arrest, engaging in threatening behaviour and failing to give a Garda his name after he had been cautioned under the Public Order Act.
