O’Malley hints at possible switch to Fianna Fáil

Senator Fiona O'Malley is hinting that she may join Fianna Fáil if the Progressive Democrats decide to dissolve.

In an interview this morning, the daughter of PD founder Des O'Malley says she has already held talks with other parties about her future.

However, she is insisting that she will remain a member of the PDs until the party's fate is decided on November 8.

Ms O'Malley says her father has accepted the party will be wound up, and "while he isn't pleased, he is realistic about it".
