Police hunt robber on getaway bicycle

Detectives in the North are today hunting a robber who held up a man before making off on a bicycle.

Detectives in the North are today hunting a robber who held up a man before making off on a bicycle.

The victim was held at knife point in a car park at West Street, in Portadown, Co Armagh.

Investigating officers said the culprit struck at around 9pm last night.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded top and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms at the time and made his escape on a bicycle.

Police are looking for witnesses, particularly the occupants of a car seen leaving the car park at the time of the incident.
