Dempsey says Govt remains committed to Metro North

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey has said the Government remains committed to the proposed Metro North project in Dublin despite the massive deterioration in the public finances.

Estimates suggest the underground rail line linking the city centre with Dublin Airport could cost €5bn or more.
