Man dies after hotel balcony fall in Cavan

A 29-year-old man has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Co Cavan.

The man was a guest at a wedding at a hotel in Kingscourt.

Emergency services were called when the man fell from a balcony around 2.30am this morning.

He was pronounced dead on route to Navan General Hospital.

Gardaí have preserved the scene for examination and no foul play is suspected at this stage.
