Wicklow gardaí hunt armed robbers

Gardaí were today hunting for an armed gang who held up a shop at gunpoint.

Three masked raiders made off with a “minimal” amount of cash from the store in Tinahely, Co Wicklow last night, gardaí said.

The men were armed with a gun and other weapons, a spokeswoman said.

All of the men were wearing black clothes and balaclavas.

The men escaped in a silver BMW.

No-one was injured and no shots were fired during the incident.

Gardaí at Bray are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
