Ceremony to mark 10th anniversary of Omagh attack

A civic ceremony is being held in Omagh today to mark the 10th anniversary of the Real IRA bomb attack that killed 29 people in the Co Tyrone town.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen will be representing the Irish Government at the official service.

However, the families of some of the victims are boycotting the event due to a dispute over the wording on a memorial to the victims.

They say it doesn't prominently blame the dissident republicans who detonated the car bomb.

These families are planning to hold a separate memorial service in the Omagh on Sunday.
