A computer memory stick containing information on a prisoner has been found in a pub in the North.

A computer memory stick containing information on a prisoner has been found in a pub in the North.

The USB device, which belongs to a Probation Board employee, was picked up by a member of the public.

It contained information on one male offender and a number of music files.

The memory stick was handed back to the Probation Board offices in Derry last week.

The board has launched an investigation and the offender involved has been informed about the incident.
