Man found dead in Cavan prison

A man has been found dead in his cell at a prison in Co Cavan today.

The prisoner was found this morning at Loughan House in Blackloin and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out on his body.

Loughan House is a low security open detention centre, housing a maximum of 85 inmates.
