Anti-nuclear-arms campaigners 'worried' about Govt stance

Campaigners for Nuclear Disarmament say they are deeply worried about the Irish Government's attitude to a 2010 international nuclear weapons conference.

The CND campaigners have said that the Government has not consulted any NGO's on the conference.

The President of CND, Rev. Patrick Comerford said that Ireland should use its international influence on the issue of nuclear weapons as it has done on the issue of land mines.
