Minister hails work of GardaÍ in increased prosecutions

The Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern has said the increase in the number of criminal cases before the courts is a sign of the work being done by the Gardaí.

The annual report from the Courts Service shows the number of murder and manslaughter cases coming before the courts has increased by 18%.
